New Patients

We are always pleased to welcome new patients of all ages to our Bournemouth dental practice and will make you feel welcome and comfortable as soon as you enter reception. Whether you are looking for general or cosmetic dentistry, we are happy to discuss your dental health needs.

We know many people are nervous about visiting the dentist, so before you even sit in the dentist's chair our dentist, Alex and Alina, will discuss your dental needs with you in our consultation area. At Queens Park we always take the time to discuss your wants and needs, along with your past dental experiences and anything we need to learn from them in relation to your future care. We'll also use our Smile Check to help get an idea of what treatment may be best for you, asking you to think about what you like or dislike about your smile.

When you are happy that we have discussed all these points, we will then examine your mouth. Alex and Alina will carry out a careful examination of your teeth and gums, including an oral cancer check, and will record any observations for future discussion. If you need x-rays we'll take them as well.

After your clinical examination and x-rays are complete, we will discuss both short and long-term treatment plans as required. You'll have the chance to ask any questions or raise any concerns you may have, and only when you are happy with your proposed treatments will we provide you with a clear, itemised treatment plan and a personal appointment time for treatment to begin.
