There are three main oral diseases: tooth decay, gum disease and oral cancer. The test will ask you some questions that will help us to estimate your risk of experiencing these diseases and their effects. Additionally, we ask if there is any disease you are currently experiencing. Please answer all of the questions to the best of your ability.

Your dental scores are based on the information you provide. The Risk Score describes the chance your health will get worse without good home and professional care. The Disease Severity Score describes how much care is needed to get you as healthy as you can be or to prevent another episode of disease.

Your scores can be printed and should be discussed with us at your next appointment, where we can verify them following a clinical examination.
